I believe that one main issue is the following: periodicals are containers of words and pictures referring to PRACTICES (reading practices, socialisation practices, POLITICAL practices, too). It seems that in this case a repertoire of political expressions was already there for these young students and that the protests and manifestations in 1968 actually had no real influence on the literary structures of the youth periodicals. Can we say that?
